By downloading, installing, or using FreshSnap ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

FreshSnap is a mobile application that helps users track food inventory and expiry dates using AI-powered image recognition. The App provides food scanning, inventory management, and expiry alerts.

2. AI-Generated Content

The AI scanning feature provides estimates for product names, categories, and expiry dates. These are estimates only and should not replace checking actual product labels. We are not responsible for inaccurate AI predictions.

3. Credits & Purchases

• New users receive 5 free scan credits upon first install
• Additional credits can be purchased through in-app purchases
• Credits are non-refundable once used
• Promotional credits may expire after 90 days of account inactivity
• Manual item entry does not require credits

4. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for verifying food safety and expiry dates
• Do not rely solely on the App for food safety decisions
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data

5. Data & Privacy

Your inventory data is stored locally on your device. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by FreshSnap and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

FreshSnap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App, including but not limited to food waste, illness from consuming expired food, or data loss.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
